The HT1671 is boost topology switching regulator for wide operating voltage applications. It provide built-in gate driver pin for driving external N-MOSFET. The non-inverting input of error amplifier connects to a 1V precision reference voltage. It have programmable frequency set by external resistors. and programmable inductor peak current limit connects a resistor from CS to GND. High power conversion efficiency across a wide load range is achieved by scaling down the switching frequency under light-load conditions to reduce the switching and gate driver losses.
The HT1671 device offers an enable pin (EN) to enable a low-current shutdown mode. In addition, it has an internal thermal shutdown and soft-start function prevents inrush current at turn-on.
The HT1671 requires a minimum number of readily available standard external components and is available in a space saving SOP-8 package.
